Q1.How would you describe Sarvaswa ventures in under 50 words?

Sarvaswa Ventures (OPC) Pvt. Ltd.,a diversified company indulging in several business portfolios, is composed of multiple Strategic Business Units having distinct product & service offerings in different market segments like fashion, development & designing of computer applications,websites and print media, domain & hosting solutions, technology solutions,startup development and many more.

Q2.Who is the team behind your venture?

Venkatesh Vaasudhevan Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Neha Menon Chief Communication Officer, Bhagyesh Save Chief Accounting Officer, Vineeth Pillai Chief Operating Officer, Shilpa Das Director of Company & Head of Unit - Stylopolitan, Sandesh Nambiar Strategic Sales Manager, Pooja Kamble E-Commerce Manager, Akash Sarfare Head of Unit - Technostan, Dhanashri Phatak Project Manager, Kaustubh Sawant Head of Unit - Dzinerspot

Q3.How long did it take to put together the initial version?

It took us about 3-5 days to come together while making sure that everyone was in the same page. From then on, it was just a continuous process of learning and growing.

Q4.How long did it take you to build company?

It took us 3 months to get the business running. This period included designing the business model, registration of the company and other formalities.

Q5.What is the biggest hurdle you have faced or are still facing?

India in not the ideal location to open a start-up and we did face a lot of issues that can vouch for this. Also we were about to open our bank account when demonetization came into picture and this was a major setback for us. The procedure for the creation of a bank account that takes upto 1 week max went up to a month which in turn caused major delay in the business schedule.

Q6.If you could only give one piece of advice, what would it be?

“To any entrepreneur: if you want to do it, do it now. If you don’t, you’re going to regret it.” - Catherine Cook, co-founder of MyYearbook.

Q7.What is your one tip for aspiring entrepreneurs?

Our one tip will be : Don’t be a cliche and never shy away from asking advice. Remember, experience is the best teacher.

Q8.What have been the main advantages of building a separate identity?

A separate entity means limited liability. It distributes the responsibility and also simplifies the taxation process. We at Sarvaswa Ventures are running parallel business units providing different services to variety of end-users due to which maintaining a separate entity is of utmost importance.

Q9.How much time do you spend working on Sarvaswa on an average day?

Being students who are pursuing a post-graduation degree, it becomes a daunting task to juggle both academics and business together. It is awfully necessary to create a perfect balance between the two. We might not have perfected this balance as of yet but we spend an average of 3 hours a day to ensure the smooth working of the business.

Q10.What’s the most interesting tech article you’ve read this year?

Three Common Challenges Entrepreneurs Face (and How to Overcome Them). It was a simple but effective read that gave a true insight into the problems faced by a relatively new entrepreneur.

Q11.Who do you see as your target audience?

Our target audience vary from teenagers to housewives, big business enterprises to emerging startups and everything in between. Sarvaswa Ventures aims to cater to the needs of every individual and thus our tagline “*Encompassing Entirety*”.
